PHLIO WATERFALL NATION PARK, CHANTABURI

INTRODUCTION ABOUT MY BLOG

This blog is about my traveling experience at PHLIO WATERFALL located in Namtokphilo National Park, Chantaburi Province, East of Thailand.

HIGHLIGHT : There are many big fish : Mahseer Barb or Neolissochilus Stracheyi in the scientific name (credit : www.wikipedia.org) swimming in the waterfall and the tourists can swim with the fish like a friendship. We are very close with the nature and enjoy taking time at PHLIO WATERFALL.

HOW TO GO :

By Bus : Take a Bus, a public transportation at Bangkok's Eastern Bus Terminal or Ekamai Bus Terminal Bangkok to Chantaburi Province then take the local public transportation (Songtaew) at the market to the PHLIO WATERFALL NATIONAL PARK.

By Car : Take Highway No.3 (Sukhumvit) Bangna-Trat to Chantaburi Provinc (around 347 km. from BKK) or Take Highway No.317 into Banbung-Klang (follow Bangna- Trat) to Chantaburi Province (around 270 km. from BKK)

Before going to swim waterfall, we took many photo at the place sign showing the name of PHLIO WATERFALL

We prepared the vegetable, Cowpea for feeding the fish, Masseer Barb.

If you don't want to walk, you can take the electric vehicles, golf car from National Park office to waterfall serviced by National Park office.

We took the photo in front of the Along Khon Chedi which was built in the reign of King Rama V.

Below is a memorial stupa of Sunanta Kumari was built in the reign of King Rama V.

Both Along Khon Chedi and the Memorial Stupa of Sunanta Kumari was built for their memory that used to visit PHLIO WATERFALL.

Going straight to see waterfall, Many tourists and I were excited with what we saw on the way, many Mahseer Barb swimming like the tourist attraction here.
