Mae Fah Luang Gardens located in Doi Tung Royal Villa area and located on the slopes below the Royal Villa that looked so fantastic and beautiful like the SWITZERLAND country.

 The Mae Fah Lung Gardens are the kind of Winter Garden, beautiful Botanical Park, the beautiful plants and colorful flowers are planted on the hills of Doi Tung which are in bloom all year round. You will find the very big beautiful plants and flower garden here with unforgettable.

How to go : By Car : From the city of Chiangrai, along Highway No. 110 to 45 kilometers, turn left on Highway No.1149 about 15 Kilometers.
For tourists who travel by bus can take a purple minibus entrance to the car sine 7.00 am. The serviced time of the purple minibus is every 20 minutes.

Luckily, all Thai people and foreigner pay the same admission fees at only 80 Thai Baht, but you will find the one best of wonderful garden in the north of Thailand.

CONTINUITY

Happily to take time at the beautiful place, cool weather and overall peaceful atmosphere. I think the swimming ducks are feeling like us. he he. ^___^

There are many kinds of flowering and ornamental plants grow and are in bloom beautifully. Although, The Mae Fah Luang Gardens are grown the plants and flowers all year, but the winter is the best for blooming flower. For me, I love water garden too much because It makes me feel fresh as well.

The one thing that I know, The flowering and ornamental plants at Mae Fah Luang Gardens are grown and nourished by the local tribal people.

For Thai people or for whom that would like to travel aboard in European Countries like SWITZERLAND,  I think you can visit Mae Fah Luang Gardens, then you can find the awesome and charming place. I am very appreciated for kindness of Her Royal Highness Princes Srinagarindra, The Princes Mother (The mother of Thailand's current king) who built this Gardens for Thai population. 

The Sculpture "CONTINUITY" : At the central of the Mae Fah Luang Gardens, everyone will see the plaster, portland cement of many children are like doing a pyramid of acrobat. I found the name and meaning of it by the internet that it is the Sculpture called "CONTINUITY" named and meaning by Her Royal Highness Princes Srinagarindra, The Princes Mother (The mother of Thailand's current king).

The meaning of the "CONTINUITY" is "If someone needs to be successful in something, need to continue what are doing as well."

Flowers and plants grow around the Sculpture " Continuity" on the slopes below the Royal Villa is the fantastic attraction.

Doi Tung Royal Villa located in Chiangrai, the province of the north of Thailand.We can say that Doi Tung Royal Villa is one of the Top Hit and Popular Place in Thailand. Someone says that Doi Tung Royal Villa looks like The Switzerland caused by the beautiful plants and flowers, cool weather and overall peaceful atmosphere.

Doi Tung Royal Villa

Like A Dream :  I can say that travelling Doi Tung Royal Villa was my dream sine I was young. I have been hearing about this Place from my relative and that make me interested in Doi Tung Royal Villa as much as I could feel that time.

Well, at that time I visited Doi Tung Royal Villa, the weather was not much cold, but if you plan to visit this place, I suggest you the best season to visit during the winter months (from November - February). You will have an experience like living in SWITZERLAND with the many kind of beautiful blooming flowers and very cold weather that can get a low as 3-5 degrees and it is the high season for the tourist. 

Valuable Historical Place : Of course, I was so happy and had a great day to take time at Doi Tung Royal Villa where there are many interesting things with the beautiful bloom flowers, peaceful, clean and cool weather, but the most important and valuable thing to me and all of Thai People is Doi Tung Royal Villa is owner by our lovely former residence of the Princess Mother (Mother of the present king), Somdej Phra Srinagarindra. 

The sounding area of the Doi Tung Royal Villa, you can see the guard outside the Royal Villa,watching around, look after the Royal Villa and taking care travelers.

The views of both Burma and Thailand from the top of this mountain.

I spent my time to take a photo of blooming flowers, green forests and beautiful hills.

Doi Tung Royal Villa is located high up on the hill that make us can see many mountains and green forests both of Thailand and Myanmar (Burma) area.

It is very kind of Somdej Phra Srinagarindra, the mother of Thailand's current king or knows as the Princess Mother, she established many projects which useful and valuable to Thai people.

In the past, Doi Tung Royal Villa was built originally as a summer residence for the Princess Mother and now is a museum, displaying her work with the reason to improve the life qualify of local tribal people.

At the present time, Wat Rongkhun is well known to the tourist around the world. Many people around the world don't miss visiting this temple (Wat) when they visit Chiangrai Province.

Wat RongKhun located in Chiangrai, the province in the north of Thailand. It is well known in the name of White Temple for some foreigners. It is owned by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a very famous Thai Artist of the North Thailand.

Why is Wat Rongkhun famous in North of Thailand? I think that are because of the beauty of the Architecture, graciousness, and delicateness. Moreover, You will find the Dharmic Principle in the way of Buddhist.

How to go : By Airplane, By Bus from Bangkok to Chiang Rai 

Wat Rongkhun has two Architectural Styles that are Buddhist Architecture and Hindu Architecture. 

Very Interesting! & Fantastic ! 

I was taking a photo (Paper Picture) with the artist, Khun Chalermchai Kositpipat who designed, constructed and opened WAT RONGKHUN to visitors in 1997. He is the most famous artist of the north of Thailand.

Please note that the visitors are only allowed to take pictures outside. We can keep our great memory on the place in our mind forever. ^__^

HUMAN HEADS : What do you think about the Human Heads? They look Awful & Scary, but I think the artist tries giving us the principle on something of the buddhist belief. 

The bridge of the cycle of rebirth : If you can notice on the above picture, you will find the awful and scary human handing up their arms. I don't know the meaning of this matter (will find the answer for this someday). However, I like the way to present like this.

There are many buildings at WAT RONGKHUN which are fantastic, beautiful and interesting like GATE OF HUMAN, UBOSOT (The Principal Building) etc. 

Do you know what this Golden Building is? The answer is the Rest Room. Have you ever seen the beautiful rest room in the world? Let me know if you had seen where the beautiful rest room like this place is. I have never seen the luxurious rest room like this before.
